About us:
Modern Mamas is Brisbane's largest mother's group program with the city's widest range of mums and bubs activities under one roof.
Everything we do centres around connecting, supporting and empowering new mothers. We welcome hundreds through our doors every week and our mission is to offer every single mum and baby the warmth, care and support they deserve.
The role:
We're looking for wonderful volunteers to be on site to offer an extra set of hands, rock babies to sleep, read to the group, share a hidden talent (something creative perhaps?) or hold bub while mum has 10mins to herself.
Our volunteers will simply be there, with a warm smile, kind gesture or encouraging words for 2-4hrs per week or fortnight - whichever suits best.

We believe it's equally as important for our volunteers to enjoy new connections and experiences themselves!
So, as a thank you to our wonderful team of volunteers, there'll be regular catchups and social outings on offer for those who wish to attend.

- Those that radiate a sense of calm and experience
- Those who are "naturals" with babies
- Someone who is warm, friendly and approachable
- The type of person who'd bake a lasagne for a struggling mother simply because she wanted to
- Blue Card required
- Police check required
